In addition, the cameras now support Presenter Lock™, a new feature that allows the cameras to lock into a specific subject for auto-tracking which will work even when other people are in view. Additionally, PTZOptics has a long list of new features that will be available first for the Move 4K cameras. These include Group-Tracking, Auto-Framing, Tracking Composition, Dynamic Zoom, and a new “Track Now” feature designed to pick up auto-tracking seamlessly from a manual PTZ control position.

Understanding the PTZOptics Move SE

Before we delve into all the new features, let’s revisit what makes the PTZOptics Move SE and Move 4K special. The Move Series is a major leap in video quality, when compared to other PTZ cameras, partially due to the SONY image CMOS sensors now used in the PTZOptics cameras. The Move Series features continuous firmware updates that are made available throughout the 5-year warranty period supported by the award winning PTZOptics team. These updates include features that are made for video camera operators, and come directly from the PTZOptics user community.

How the Move SE Elevates Broadcasting with NDI

The Move SE, now with NDI HX native capabilities, becomes an even more powerful tool in the arsenal of broadcasters and streamers. Here’s what this means in practical terms:

  • Remote Production Capabilities: The Move SE with NDI opens up opportunities for remote production. Cameras can be controlled and monitored from any location on the network, giving producers and directors unprecedented flexibility.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: By reducing the need for extensive cabling and hardware, NDI makes high-quality production more accessible to a wider range of creators, from independent streamers to large broadcasting studios.

Building on the existing excitement around PTZOptics Move SE and Move 4K cameras, it’s thrilling to introduce the next evolution in remote camera control and production: the PTZOptics Hive.
